In this lesson we will learn how to play the G Chord
This chord can seem a little daunting at first as it involves some a big stretch for the second finger. Stick with it and be patient remember Rome wasn’t built in a day.
Work on making the 3rd finger form a natural bridge as discussed in the video, and try and keep the 2nd finger high enough away from the A string so it doesn’t mute the string when strummed.
Listen to the sound clip of the G chord
If you start to feel a strain on the fingers while practicing the chord the stop shake of your hand and leave for a short period the try again. If you have already learned some previous chords then try changing between the chords you already know. Don’t try and play to fast take your time and work on making the chords sound clean.
